Welcome Back to Willits, SHS Seniors!

Each spring, the high school seniors return to where it all began for the annual "Senior Clap Out." Dressed in their full caps and gowns, the soon-to-be graduates march through the hallways of their former elementary school. Lining the corridors are the current elementary students, teachers, and staff, cheering wildly and high-fiving the seniors.

For the elementary kids, it is a thrilling glimpse into their own futures—a moment of pure inspiration seeing the "big kids" achieve their goals. But for the seniors, it is a bittersweet walk down memory lane. Walking past the tiny desks, looking at the bulletin boards, and hugging the teachers who taught them how to read, they are reminded of just how far they have come. It is a beautiful celebration of growth, community, and the exciting next chapters waiting just around the corner.
