The 2025 A.P. Willits Norma Gold Award Recipients
Before her passing in 1971, Norma Gold dedicated herself to teaching in the elementary schools of the Syosset Central School District. Renowned for her compassion and empathy throughout her teaching tenure, Norma Gold also chaired the district’s Human Relations Committee in her final years. To honor her legacy of kindness and service, the Human Relations Committee established an award to recognize Syosset students who exhibit outstanding altruism.
This year, A.P. Willits is proud to bestow this honor on two outstanding students. Congratulations, Harper and Sydney! You have made a huge impact on our school community during your time at Willits! We know you will continue to soar!
