Congratulations to the A.P. Willits Norma Gold Award Recipient
Before her passing in 1971, Norma Gold dedicated herself to teaching in the elementary schools of the Syosset Central School District. Renowned for her compassion and empathy throughout her teaching tenure, Norma Gold also chaired the district’s Human Relations Committee in her final years. To honor her legacy of kindness and service, the Human Relations Committee has established an award to recognize Syosset students who exhibit outstanding altruism. This year, we are thrilled to present this esteemed award to Jayden, an incredible fifth grade student that encompasses all of these remarkable qualities. Congratulations, Jayden!
