Buddy Day at A.P. Willits!

Inspired by Junior Day at Syosset High School, Willits fifth graders had the opportunity to participate in Buddy Day. This day is all about making connections, appreciating commonalities, and building community spirit. Through engaging activities and meaningful conversations, students broke down social barriers, challenged assumptions, and experienced the comfort of a supportive peer environment—an approach proven to reduce stress and enhance well-being. It was also a wonderful chance for students to form new friendships, especially as they prepare for their exciting transition to HBT Middle School next year.
