APW Fifth Graders Visit Commerce Plaza!

Stepping into the shoes of entrepreneurs, employees, and consumers in this immersive, simulated business world, our fifth graders had an incredible field trip to Commerce Plaza! Our students were assigned jobs, earned money, managed budgets, and made real-world decisions as they operated various shops and services within the plaza.

From bankers and bakers to news reporters and police officers, everyone had a vital role in keeping the economy moving. This unique experience was an incredible opportunity to bring our classroom lessons in economics, civics, and financial literacy to life!
