A.P. Willits Flag Day Assembly
Our school community gathered outside this morning under a clear blue sky for a special Flag Day assembly. Students and teachers stood proudly together as the American flag was raised to the top of the mast, honoring our nation's history and unity. The vibrant, patriotic ceremony concluded with a heartfelt rendition of "Grand Old Flag" kicking off the day with a shared sense of pride and community spirit.
The afternoon culminated with veterans from the VFW visiting for a special assembly. The veterans introduced themselves, told their personal stories, and shared what the flag means to them. Willits students sang songs celebrating the USA and were proud to share this day with our local veterans.
